SPITFIRE SOCCER ACADEMY
Giving Back

The pictures that embodies this page clearly identifies what the Spitfire Soccer Academy is all about as a non - profit entity for youth development.

Spitfire Soccer Academy makes donations to deprived kids as far as Africa. We believe in giving back and helping to promote the love and joy that the game of soccer brings to youths all over the world.

Through support and donations from Soccer & Sports and the pass backs from several people we were able to put few things together to take to remote areas in Africa of Ghana and Nigeria as a start.

A very memorable one is the trip with soccer goods to a very remote village built on water in Ghana. This was a terrifying trip for me as I can not swim. But I sum up a courage to paddle with my guide to visit this village as this is the only means of transportation to the village. I heared there is an elementary school there that plays soccer at recess so I was determined to see them.

As the pictures on the left depicts. There was a school and they have a makeshift soccer field of dirts and woods for goalpost. The sad thing is when the river or lake rises the field will be consumed with water that means no soccer untill the raining season is over.

While we visited Nigeria few youth teams were presented with soccer equipments including my former High School with pictures on the right with the help of some former old boys of the school.

We are on a journey to make our planet a better place for our youths all over the world most especially Africa through our love Soccer!
